Domaine de La Thibaudière
At the Domaine de la Thibaudière in Saint-Julien-des-Landes in the Vendée, Maud offers a range of services including horse riding, lessons for all levels and horse boarding.
The Domaine de la Thibaudière is a small family-run riding centre managed by Maud Bertin, a state-qualified riding instructor and rider. She offers:• Lessons ranging from Galop 1 to Galop 7, for adults and children
• Competition outings,
• Coaching,
• 1-hour ride in the countryside around St-Julien-des-Landes (by booking only)
• 4-hour ride around Lac du Jaunay (by booking only)
From 1 May until 15 September: Scenic rides through the Landes countryside
• 1-hour walk at a walking pace for beginners: €20
• 2-hour ride for experienced riders: €55 (mastery of all three gaits required)
All rides are by booking only and in groups of up to 5 people.
From late May to late August: Pony-led rides and horse-drawn carriage rides departing from the “Le Pin Parasol” campsite in La Chapelle-Hermier
Private riding lessons for all ages: €30/hour, by booking
Carriage rides: €30 per person (max. 3 people)
On site, several hectares are dedicated to livery, broodmare boarding, retirement homes, or working horses.
Maud Bertin is also a certified “Pet Sitter” through ACACED:
