BOUCLE ÉQUESTRE DE ST-PÈRE À ST-BREVIN
A 25km equestrian trail from the countryside of St-Père-en-Retz to the beach at St-Brevin, approved by the EquiLiberté 44 association.
This circuit is accessible to horse-drawn carriages, with variations.
The route starts in the countryside at L'Étang in St-Père, and heads towards St-Brevin. Halfway through the loop, the route takes in around 5km of beach. The route then crosses a built-up area in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, before returning to the country lanes.
Please note: the trail is only accessible at low tide, with a tidal range of over 90° and during the low season, from 16 September to 14 June, excluding weekends and public holidays between 1 May and 30 September.
Horse riding on the beach is only permitted on wet sand, and is strictly forbidden on other areas and in the dunes.
All paths must be cleaned of horse droppings by horse owners.
