BOUCLE DE LA VANNERIE N°10

Start from the village of Madré, near the church. Head towards St Julien du Terroux. Take the lane on the right after an old café (Chemin de Normandie). Follow the dirt track to Chevrigné. In the hamlet, turn right and go straight on for about 600m. At the crossroads, turn left and follow the D218 for 300m, then turn right onto the track. Continue as far as the village of La Lande, taking the first track on the left. At the D264 crossroads, turn left. Take care on the road. Take the first road on the right. You will pass the Boutrouillère farm. Go straight on along a dirt track to the pretty hamlet of La Vannerie, which you cross to the left. You will find yourself on a sunken track overlooking the Mayenne. At a right angle, head due south. You come out onto a local road. Panorama to the north-east. Turn right. Leave St Antoine farm on the left and take the road to the right. Turn left and go through a poplar grove, then left again to return to the main road, which you take on the right as far as an industrial henhouse. Take this road to the junction with the D218 for Javron-les-Chapelles. Cross the road. Go straight on towards La Gasnerie. Go back up to the right via Le Buet and Rue de la Poste to return to the church.
Alternatively, after the Boutrouillère farm, go down the first path without hedges, to the right - with a fine view of the Madré bell tower - This option allows you to rejoin the loop, avoiding the passage through La Vannerie.
