Vincent Purkart and Jacques Secrétin: a table tennis duo
Jacques Secrétin is France's most successful table tennis player.
He is world-famous for his humorous ping pong show with Vincent Purkart, the Show Secrétin-Purkart.
Together, they put on more than 3,500 shows around the world, including numerous television appearances.
As they both regularly came to Saint-Brevin-les-Pins for a holiday, the local councillors were keen to pay tribute to them by associating their names with this new facility for young sportsmen and women.
