The Moulin gîte is in the heart of the Alpes Mancelles nature reserve. To get there, leave the road and follow the Sarthon, the river that flows into the Sarthe, for 200 metres.
It's an exceptional place to recharge your batteries and breathe!
You can discover the Mont des Avaloirs and the entire southern part of the Normandie Maine Regional Nature Park. You're at the crossroads of 3 départements: Mayenne, Sarthe and Orne. The natural environment is remarkable.
The Domaine de Trotté is a communal site open to the public, with a hiking trail close to the gîte. The village of Saint Pierre des Nids is 4km away, with all local shops.
For leisure activities, you can go to the leisure centre at Saint-Cénéri-le-Gérei, just over 1km away, where you can go canoeing or kayaking, or to Saint Léonard des Bois (accrobranche course and other activities). Saint-Cénéri-le-Gérei has been designated one of France's most beautiful villages.
River fishing in the Sarthon, 1st category, fishing licence required.
Ground floor: living room 22m² (fireplace with wood burner, TV, dining room, sofa bed) - kitchen 10m² (electric hob, fridge, electric oven, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc.). A few steps lead up to the bathroom with shower tray, washbasin, hairdryer, washing machine and separate WC. 1 bedroom with 1 140*190 bed 2 bedrooms each with 2 separate 0.80*190 beds 1 cupboard or 1 chest of drawers, or even a desk.
Baby equipment on request: cot, high chair.
Enclosed garden area, one-piece dining table with bench, solid barbecue. Car park 80 m away.
Other gîtes 200 m away. La Bataille, with 2 bedrooms, sleeps 5, and two stopover gîtes run directly by the local council.
