Le Clos Monthébert is a gîte in the heart of rolling countryside, a haven of peace. It is an old farmhouse converted into a country house, surrounded by one hectare of wooded and fenced parkland, a veritable jewel case of greenery.
The gîte is located in an annex to the owners' house. Ground floor: entrance hall, bright, spacious, authentic, fully-equipped kitchen (hob, oven, large fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, etc.) with dining area. Large living-dining room with an antiques feel, rustic and modern charm.
Chambre Plantagenet on the ground floor with 1 double bed (160cm), en-suite shower room (Italian shower, washbasin and separate wc). This spacious room is decorated in shades of grey and mauve and overlooks the garden. Chambre Bocage on the ground floor with 1 double bed (140cm), Italian shower, washbasin and separate toilet. This cosy room has a very mineral feel with its rough stone walls and terracotta floor tiles. Bedroom 24 Heures on the first floor, accessed via a spiral staircase, with 2 single beds (90cm) that can be made into a double bed (180cm) and 1 single bed (90cm) (bath, washbasin, walk-in shower and WC). This large attic bedroom can accommodate a small family or 3 people each in a separate bed. Linen and WIFI are provided. Each room has a flat-screen TV, a fan and a hairdryer. In fine weather, an enclosed garden reserved for guests and a furnished terrace allow you to enjoy peace and quiet and outdoor meals. The wooded park is also ideal for walks in the company of the house dog, an adorable Golden Retriever who is used to the owners' children. A magnificent secure swimming pool measuring 10 m x 5 m, extended by a solarium terrace or pergola and sun loungers, and a 6-seater heated spa are all available. The swimming pool shared with the owners is open from 10am to 8pm, weather permitting. No alcohol is allowed in this area. The pool is heated naturally (bubble cover), often providing a suitable temperature. Free, secure parking (gate with digicode) and the possibility of a covered carport. Magnificent residence with every comfort, close to all the ingredients for a successful holiday: Brûlon leisure centre (supervised swimming, canoeing, paddle surfing, pedal-boating ....) as well as the Papea theme park or La Flèche zoo... Easy access via exits 8 and 9 of the A11, A28 and A81 motorways (approx. 20-25 mm).
