Gite Les Sentis

Welcome to Gîte Les Sentis, a typical Anjou house with tufa stone walls and cellars dug into a cliff of falun rock. A charming gîte for 6, combining modern comforts with old stone. A cosy little nest with a bucolic enclosed garden.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, you'll be woken by the sound of birdsong in this warm, cosy and beautifully decorated gîte.
The gîte is ideally situated between Angers, Saumur and Doué-la-Fontaine in the commune of Gennes-Val-de-Loire, in Milly, renowned for its forest.
A privileged location in the heart of the Anjou countryside, ideal for discovering the wonders of the Loire Valley:
- Doué-La-Fontaine, the city of roses and the Bioparc, is 5 minutes away, and you can also visit the mystery of the cliffs and troglodytes.
- Rochemenier, a typical troglodyte village...
- 20 minutes from Saumur
- 15 minutes from the Cadre Noir
- 35 minutes from Angers to visit the old town, Terra Botanica, the Jean Lurçat museum, etc.
- 10 min from Le Thoureil: a must-see village on the banks of the Loire
- 5 min from Gennes/Les rosiers: take the route along the banks of the Loire...
You can also enjoy traditional "fouées" and discover the various vineyards in the region.

The ground floor of the 95 m² gîte comprises a living room with a modern, fully-equipped kitchen, a dining room and a working fireplace. A separate sitting room with a large, comfortable sofa, perfect for relaxing and reading, overlooks the garden. A bathroom (bath/shower) and a laundry room with washing machine. Separate WC.
Upstairs are two bedrooms: a master bedroom with a very comfortable double bed (160x200) and another bedroom with two single beds. The third bedroom, with a 140x190 bed, is in a small outbuilding with a private shower room and WC.
The gîte has air conditioning.
The flower-filled garden features a pergola, barbecue and working bread oven. A covered area is also available.

Please note: the owner, who will give you a warm welcome, has a second gîte on this road, Le Colombier des Sentis, which sleeps 6. Each gîte is completely independent, but you can rent the two together if you wish to bring 12 people together.
