The gîte des faisans is a detached house with 4 bedrooms and 3 shower rooms, surrounded by a well-kept garden with various relaxation areas. You're in southern Mayenne, 10 minutes from Laval.
As well as sharing her garden, the owner has a passion for decorating and offers Eléonore decorative painting lessons. The gîte is a showcase for her experiences! Come and get inspired!
Leisure activities? You can cycle along the old railway tracks that link you to the Vélofrancette (a path that is renowned for its facilities).
In the village, you can fish in the presbytery moat.
The Robert Tatin Museum, 3km away in Cossé-le-Vivien, is a must-see for young and old alike, with its open-air and some indoor exhibitions and monumental sculptures that will leave you breathless.
In Laval, there's a wide range of activities: the commercial centre, the medieval castle that houses the Musée d'Art Naïf (Museum of Naive Art), of which the Douanier Rousseau, a Laval native, is an emblematic figure. At Christmas, Laval is renowned for its illuminations, with the option of a cruise on the Mayenne. The Laval marina offers electric boats, kayaks and bicycles for hire...
