Église Saint-Vincent

The nave was built in the 10th century, the choir in the 12th century and the entire building restored in the 17th century.

The church was probably burnt down at the same time as Jard sur Mer in 1568, during the Wars of Religion. Richard the Lionheart, who stayed in the Talmondais area for several years at the end of the 12th century, built the present bell tower on the foundations of the old 9th-century keep.
