EGLISE SAINT LAURENT

A 13th and 14th century Catholic church with a remarkable organ.

The Church of Saint Laurent has a panelled ceiling, a choir organ with pipes and a typical slate bell tower known as a swallow's beak. This small organ comes from Malaucène, at the foot of Mont Ventoux in the Vaucluse. It was built in 1982 by organ builder Gérald Guillemin, and bought by the town in 1985.
Traces of forced entry can still be seen on the small side door, a reminder of the disturbances caused by the 1906 inventory of church property.
