EGLISE NOTRE DAME
Beautiful neoclassical architecture. The building, near the Loire à Vélo route, faces Joachim Du Bellay museum dedicated to the native poet Liré and the Renaissance period
Presentation of: EGLISE NOTRE DAME
The architect François Scheult designs in the early nineteenth century a church in neoclassical style resuming the Greco- Roman vocabulary with particular triangular pediment on the front. The building faces the museum dedicated to the poet Joachim Du Bellay Renaissance who probably would not have denied these forms antiquisantes.
