Chapelle de la Tulévrière

Chapel built during the Vendée Wars.

This small chapel was built during the Terror in 1794 by Abbé Tenebre, the parish priest of Croix de Vie, in gratitude for saving the village of La Tulévrière from the infernal columns during the Vendée wars. A treasure is on display.
Located on the departmental cycle route, and on the Chapelles trail from Les Lucs-sur-Boulogne.

Open every day.

Guided tours available, contact the Mairie de Saint-Etienne-du-Bois.
