Presentation of: LE 21 - Bar a vins et a manger
A restaurant with a sea view perched above the beach of Birochère "called la Biro", a place well known to the people of Pornic!
A place rather isolated from the rest of Pornic, 21 rue de la Plage remains a privileged site a stone's throw from the Thalasso.
Freshly installed in Pornic, this couple in their thirties fell in love with the 21 formerly known as “Beau Rivage”, a
Mecca of gastronomy belonging to the Corchia family for 37 years.
This transmission is a success for this Angevin chef who has worked his way through prestigious houses such as Troisgros, Thorel and Coutanceau. Suffice to say that the cuisine of the sea has no secrets for him. After a first stopover of 10 years in Anjou, Sylvain and Valérie Belouin change
of living environment and it is finally in Pornic that the personality of the chef is expressed more easily because the environment corresponds better to his temperament.
The concept has remained the same, at aperitif time, we appreciate oysters, sausages and other sardines, mackerel, anchovies or even Serrano, cured meat Cecina IGP Leon and other Prosciutto di Parma, all presented on a plate.
The lunch or dinner meal continues with an inventive cuisine that uses seafood, fresh fish from fishing boats in the port, up-to-date cuisine twisted by tangy and well-seasoned flavors, all with a good dose of know-how.
