An enchanting walk along the Canal de Haute-Perche in Pornic: a rejuvenating getaway

A bucolic trail awaits you along this historic canal, once used for coastal shipping. Follow the picturesque footbridges, let yourself be guided along the shady paths and admire the rolling countryside.
As you stroll along, you'll discover the Haute-Perche river and its traditional fisheries, testimony to a rich maritime past. You'll be charmed by the surrounding farmland and hedged farmland, a haven of peace in which to recharge your batteries.
The walk continues along the banks of the Val Saint-Martin pond, an ideal spot for a family picnic or to observe the local flora and fauna.

A 5km section of this trail is accessible to all.
