Presentation of: GR364, DU POITOU A L'OCEAN EN VENDEE

In our department, the new approved route is more tourist-friendly. It crosses the Vendée over 252 km, through a diversity of landscapes: its bocage, its forests, its lakes, its rivers, its marshes and finally the coastline with its pearl of the Atlantic coast: Les Sables d'Olonne.

The GR® 364 has been "revitalised" over the last 2 years, with its route in the Vendée completely revised and re-marked. It has been divided into 11 stages of between 20 and 25 km, each with its own presentation panel.

Stage 8 of this GR® starts in the commune of Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche and finishes on the banks of Lac du Jaunay, at a place called "Le Pré" in La Chapelle-Hermier.
Accommodation (4 single beds) is available in the village of Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche. You'll also be able to stock up on supplies thanks to the nearby shops.
