ÉGLISE NOTRE-DAME DE BOUÉE

Built of stone, granite and tufa at the top of the Bouée hillock, Notre-Dame church towers over the whole area.

It was built in several stages. The oldest and most remarkable part is the sacristy, which dates back to the 14th century. It is made up of four rib-vaulted bays. The keystones are emblazoned.

Another special feature of the church is an admirable 14th-century "Virgin and Child" in white marble.
