Vendéspace
A large complex dedicated to national and international sporting and cultural events.
Vendéspace, which opened on 14 September 2012, is a 21,000 m² multi-purpose facility with three halls dedicated to a variety of sports and shows. Thanks to its retractable bleacher system, it can seat between 1,000 and 4,900 people.This unique venue in France combines technology, modularity, aesthetics and high-quality acoustics, enabling it to host international sporting events, prestigious concerts, handball, volleyball and judo competitions, as well as shows such as Carmen, the Chinese National Circus and Russian ballets.
Vendéspace is also a training centre, with facilities open to departmental committees for training and competitions.
