Cinéma Jacques Demy

Unlike multiplexes, this is a cinema on a human scale, where staff and volunteers give you a warm welcome. It's easy to talk to them, and there's a real sense of community around the cinema.

The cinema, which has an Art et Essai rating, offers a varied programme of films every week:
- French and international mainstream films,
- documentaries, animated films, VO screenings,
- special screenings for children, ciné-débat or ciné-goûter.

Occasional events (meetings with authors, themed screenings, local festivals or participation in initiatives such as PlayTime) are also organised, reinforcing its role as a lively cultural venue at the heart of the community.

The cinema is run by around fifty volunteers, who are responsible for ticket sales, screenings, programming and events. The cinema aims to create a friendly space for entertaining, sharing and discovering the 7ᵉ art.
