The Saint-Denis-d'Anjou Tourist Office has put together a fun walk to discover this pretty "Petite Cité de Caractère".
Situated at the crossroads of the Sarthe, Mayenne and Anjou regions, Saint-Denis-d'Anjou has a history stretching back thousands of years.The village has preserved its medieval character, and invites you to take a stroll: from the Romanesque church and its wall paintings to the covered market, via the canon's house and the forge.
Alongside the heritage discovery trail, you'll be able to see the different grape varieties planted as a tribute to the thriving wine industry in Saint-Denis-d'Anjou in the Middle Ages.
To begin the tour, meet in front of the tourist office, 2 Grande Rue.
