LE CHANTILLY

Le Chantilly, an associative and cultural café, is the result of a desire to evolve, to reappropriate the reception area by the residents of Méan-Penhoët in order to put them at the centre of the structure's project.

From September onwards, the MQMP will be home to "Le Chantilly", a community and cultural café run by a group of residents.

Le Chantilly is a nod to the history of this building, which has long been a popular meeting place in the district, thanks to its bar-hotel-restaurant activity.

Resolutely supportive, Le Chantilly has been designed by local people for local people as a place where anyone can drink a café chantilly or take part in workshops. The group dreams of a simple place where culture is accessible to as many people as possible, where chance encounters are free and where people can learn from each other.

Whether you're behind the bar serving coffee, choosing the cultural programme, proposing and/or leading a workshop, or organising cultural evenings, come and play your part: there's no such thing as too little or too much participation!

In partnership with Le Carillon, hanging coffees will be available. The idea is to add to the cost of your coffee the cost of a second coffee, which is then offered to the person who asks for it.
