Day 1 : From Savennières to Thouarcé, via Château de Brissac
Morning: Along the Loire
From Angers, head for Savennières, a charming village on the banks of the Loire. You'll be immediately captivated by the tufa stone houses, cobbled streets and the church of Saint-Pierre et Saint-Romain, one of the oldest in the region. Then hop on your bike to follow the Loire à Vélo, and let yourself be carried away by the gentle lapping of the water and the song of the birds.
Afternoon: The Giant of the Loire Valley opens its doors to you
You continue on towards Brissac-Quincé, where you can't miss the Château de Brissac, the highest in France. You'll be impressed by its seven storeys and numerous furnished rooms. The tour takes in a surprising theater and a vaulted cellar displaying the château's wine production. Outside, stroll through the 70 hectares of beautifully landscaped grounds.
Evening: A charming night at Clos des 3 Rois

You arrive in Chalonnes-sur-Loire in the early afternoon and decide to take advantage of an original activity: an aperitif cruise on the Loire. Evening: An unusual night in a cabin on stilts
After this enchanting cruise, you'll head off to your accommodation for the night: a bivouac on stilts at Les Plages de la Loire campsite. You'll be seduced by this wooden cocoon perched among the trees, and fall asleep lulled by the song of nature.
Day 3 : From Chalonnes-sur-Loire to Angers, between Loire and Maine
Morning: Les Petites Cités de Caractère
Enjoy breakfast on the terrace of your bivouac, before setting off on your bike. You'll pass through the Petites Cités de Caractère of Savennières and Béhuard, two charming villages that will seduce you with their authenticity and preserved heritage. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Loire River and surrounding vineyards.
Afternoon: The gentleness of Anjou
You then head for Bouchemaine, where you follow the Maine River to its confluence with the Loire. You'll be seduced by the gentle Angevine atmosphere that emanates from this landscape of wet meadows and lively terraces. Take a break at Place Ruzebouc, in the heart of the old bargemen's village, before heading back to Angers.
Evening: Return to Angers
You arrive in Angers at the end of the day, after three days of discoveries and epicurean pleasures. You've been won over by Anjou and its treasures, and promise to return soon to continue your exploration.
