Accustomed to handling his guitar with class and delicacy, The Legendary Tigerman has decided to change his instrument of choice for his new twilight album. He's swapped tradition for modernity, adopting a synthesiser to create the nocturnal landscape of Zeitgeist.
More electronic, but as meticulous as ever, his musical canvas becomes more enigmatic, welcoming performances from his prestigious guests, from Asia Argento ("Good Girl") to Jehnny Beth ("Everyone"). Paulo Furtado's inhabited vocals, sometimes lascivious but always accurate, bind the whole together and transport us into a world where melancholy and lust are one.
It's a bittersweet cocktail that can be savoured without moderation, leaving the listener to intoxicate himself at will.
