At the Cargo in Segré, the Balcons de l'Oudon company presents Un coffre dans le salon, a comedy by Charles Istace, directed by Françoise Aubry, on 5, 6 and 7 December 2025.
Albert runs a slaughterhouse. His life is a living hell: the youth waistcoats are blocking his sheep shipments; his mother-in-law, an activist with the Mouvement de Défense des Animaux (Movement for the Defence of Animals), won't stop harassing him; a couple of intrusive neighbours regularly turn up at his house without warning; and a zealous police commissioner is harassing him, accusing him of hiding a serial killer in his house.
Fortunately for Albert, one object turns out to be providential. It's a simple chest left in the living room by a carpenter, and he uses it to get out of perilous situations.
