In Le Mans, the Jacobins market is held on the Place des Jacobins at the foot of Le Mans cathedral on Wednesday and Sunday mornings and all day on Fridays. The first traders arrive at 4am and finish at 1.30pm on Wednesdays and Fridays (except for manufacturers who stay all day on Fridays) and at 2.30pm on Sundays.While the summer markets offer obvious advantages, winter also brings its own.
Three times a week, the Jacobins market takes over the square of the same name, at the foot of Saint-Julien cathedral.
It's a market loved by the people of Mance, where it's great to meet up with your favourite market gardeners and craftspeople, before finishing off with a drink on the Place du Jet-d'Eau terrace!
Every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday morning.
