The Shrinking Man, a new adaptation of Richard Matheson's cult novel, follows Paul, an ordinary man who divides his life between his shipbuilding business, his wife Elise and their daughter Mia. While out at sea, Paul is confronted with a strange and unexplained meteorological phenomenon. From then on, Paul shrank inexorably, and science could neither explain why nor help him. When, by accident, he finds himself trapped in his own cellar, just a few centimetres tall, he has to fight to survive in this ordinary environment that has become perilous. In the course of this experiment, Paul comes face to face with himself and his humanity, and tries to answer the big questions of life. The Shrinking Man is both a story of initiation and a great adventure film.
