The Vouvant Village de Peintres association invites you to a tribute exhibition to Bernard Buord, known as Childerick.
Presentation of: HOMMAGE A BERNARD BUORD DIT CHILDERICK - VOUVANT VILLAGE DE PEINTRES
"My job as an acrobat has enabled me to discover the anatomy of bodies in movement, and my job as a sculptor to be able to create these bodies in the wood of the trees that are so dear to my heart".
This exhibition is dedicated to the colourful artistic universe of Bernard Buord, sculptor and circus artist.
His sculptures reveal a mastery of dance, acrobatics and showmanship.
They will be accompanied by his stage costumes and props and works by his closest friends.
Entertainment by Cirkawa and a performance by the sculptor HL Bergey, a concert of lyrical song on Sunday 5 May at 5pm by Florian Pereira, the artist's grandson, and Clara Guillon, accompanied by Lucas Belkhiri on piano.
