Leather jewellery workshop: discover how to make metal and leather earrings and bracelets

The workshop includes: discovering your skills + making your own leather jewellery + providing materials and tools.
Your choice :

- 2 pairs of leather earrings (diameter 2cm and/or 3.5cm)
or
- Making 1 pair of earrings + 1 bracelet on a 10 mm bead

Optional: cuff 20 mm wider and higher quality
- aged silver bracelet: plated with 999 pure silver (+ €20)
- 24-carat fine gold-plated bracelet (+ €30)



Material: leather + stainless steel (buckles) and brass (bracelet), hypoallergenic items
Level: beginners (minimum age 12). Fun and accessible creative workshop

WORKSHOP DETAILS

This workshop is the creative workshop par excellence... Halfway between leatherwork and jewellery design, you'll discover leatherwork tools and how to assemble costume jewellery... This leather earrings and bracelet workshop is made from leather scraps or surpluses from the fashion, footwear or leather goods industries. The aim of this workshop is, of course, to introduce you to leatherwork, but it's also part of a zero-waste approach. You'll be upcycling a beautiful material to make magnificent pairs of personalised earrings and matching bracelets. You'll start by choosing your leathers... believe me, choosing materials can sometimes be the most complicated part of the workshops! Once you've chosen your leathers, we can then choose your earring designs and start making them. Pre-cutting, gluing, over-cutting and punching will all be part of the job during the workshop and then, of course, we'll finish by assembling your leather jewellery.
