Château La Varière is one of the most famous estates in Anjou, with its roots in the 15th century. The quest for the best terroirs is a hallmark of Château la Varière, and great wines are made from the best plots in the Coteaux de l'Aubance, Bonnezeaux and Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru appellations.The vineyard is also renowned for its Cabernet Sauvignon on gravelly soils, which produces cuvées for laying down: La Chevalerie and La Grande Chevalerie.
