Based in Saint-Martin-du-Bois, La boulangerie Soleil Levain has been making organic pure sourdough bread since 1984. Their products are sold at local markets and in organic shops.
The Soleil Levain bakery opened its doors in 1985. André Terrien makes all kinds of bread using pure sourdough (water and salt), which he bakes over a wood fire. He offers rye, large spelt and small spelt breads... He also produces a wide range of pastries and viennoiseries.The flours are all locally produced.
On-site sales: to order, open Tuesdays from 4pm to 6pm and Saturdays from 4pm to 5:30pm (please contact us beforehand). Market stalls: Angers (Place Lafayette) on Wednesdays and Place Leclerc and Place Molière on Saturday mornings; also on sale at La Ferme Angevine on Saturday mornings (Beaucouzé); in specialist shops (L'épicier Vert in Segré) and other outlets in the Biocoop and Rayons Verts networks in the department.
