Saffron production : visit between the end of September and the beginning of November from 6 people.

Saffron from the Côte de Jade grows between the bocage and the ocean, and although its cultivation is still confidential, it is developing year by year.
Patience is the watchword when it comes to growing this crocus flower, and it was by taking small steps that Jade Coast Saffron was born.

Come and visit the safranière de la côte de Jade, in Saint-Père-en-retz. Caroline, the saffron grower, will show you all the secrets of saffron.

From its cultivation characteristics, its virtues and its history, for the theoretical part, you'll follow her as she picks it and then prunes it.

The visit will end with a convivial chat over saffron pastries and drinks.
