Maudet-Cousin foie gras is first and foremost a family story...
Some forty years ago, the Pinier farm became the leading fattened duck farm in Anjou. Liliane passed on her know-how to her daughter Annabelle.Liliane now runs the farmhouse inn, serving up delicious dishes, while Annabelle has taken over the running of the farm.
The ducks are reared on meadows until they are 14 weeks old and are force-fed wholegrain maize.
The recipes are developed on the farm and made without preservatives: duck breasts, confits, terrines and lots of other delicacies!
Direct sales every day.
Stand at Les Halles de Cholet, Thursday to Saturday, 7.30am to 1pm.
Christmas market at the farm on the first three weekends in December.
