Brasserie Smeele, Fabrique de bière
SMEELE - Fabrique de bière offers direct sales of beer from its brewery on the outskirts of Luçon.
Driven by a real passion for the art of brewing, Jochem presents locally produced beers. As a brewer originally from the Netherlands, he brings a bit of home-grown beer culture to the brewery.The beers are called "Polder". This name is inspired by one of the main landscapes of the Sud-Vendée and the Marais Poitevin. The name also refers to his home country, the Netherlands, where we can find the same type of landscape. The following beers are currently on sale:
- Polder Mosaïc IPA
- Polder Aramis Blonde
- Polder Witbier (white beer)
- Polder Obscure Stout (black beer)
- Polder Maelstrom (black beer)
As well as the beers, there's a lemon & ginger lemonade that's very light on sugar and very thirst-quenching.
There's also a wide selection of beers, all the way from the Netherlands!
From June to August, discover the brewery during a special tour on Thursdays from 5.30pm to 7pm.
