Located in the heart of Auvers-le-Hamon, the Espace Philippe de Jourdain is a must-see leisure area for young and old alike. With its lake, wildlife park, rose garden and sports facilities, it's the ideal place to relax, have fun or go for a family outing.

The Espace Philippe de Jourdain is a haven of peace nestling in the centre of the village of Auvers-le-Hamon. The site offers a variety of activities for all ages and tastes.

The lake, surrounded by greenery, is a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts. Fishing cards are available from the town hall, the bakery, "Les Camélias" bar and VIVECO, with prices according to age and number of rods used. Children under the age of 10 can fish free of charge when accompanied by an adult in possession of a fishing licence.

Inaugurated in May 2020, the adjacent animal park is a major family attraction. It features a wide variety of animals, including the donkey Ulysse, the alpacas Gwendolyn and Mourus, goats, Vietnamese pigs and numerous poultry. All the animals are regularly cared for and fed by a local authority worker, ensuring their well-being.

The rose garden, created in 2011, embellishes the path leading from the car park to the animal park. It offers an olfactory and visual walk through a variety of carefully tended rose bushes.

For sports fans, the City Stade is a multi-sports ground open from 8am to 10pm. Equipped with basketball baskets, goals for football and handball, and nets for volleyball and tennis, it is a great place to play a wide range of sports freely and in a friendly atmosphere.
