Lacs et base de loisirs de la Monnerie
Surrounded by a swimming lake, a sandy beach and a fishing lake, the La Monnerie site welcomes walkers and nature lovers and has been awarded the Blue Flag.
Bordered by an 8,000m² beach of fine sand, the Lac de la Monnerie leisure park is the ideal playground for young and old alike. Come and enjoy the quality of the water with the "pavillon bleu" label. More than just an indicator of water quality, this label rewards the town's action in favour of sustainable development, with a zero phyto approach to green spaces, the development of gentle means of transport and the sorting of waste on site.Numerous leisure facilities and activities: fishing, beach soccer, beach volleyball, sailing club, pedal boat and paddleboat hire, picnic tables, kite and boomerang promontory, mixed pedestrian/cycle path along the lake, fitness trail, footpaths, permanent orienteering course, disc golf course, street work-out equipment, children's play area and zip line on the beach.
Sweets, drinks and sandwiches are sold in season near the beach.
During the summer season, the beach and lake area are cleaned several times a day.
Access to the beach and parking are free.
Supervised swimming from 28 May to 29 June on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 7pm.
Supervised swimming from 30 June to 31 August every day from 1pm to 7pm.
Paddles, pedalos and disc golf for hire:
from 28 May to 29 June at weekends from 1pm to 7pm.
From 30 June to 31 August every day from 1pm to 7pm.
3-seater pedalo hire: €7 = 30 min / €11 = 1 hour
5-seater pedal boats for hire: 10€ = 30 min / 14€ = 1h
6-seater pedalos for hire: €11 = 30 mins / €16 = 1 hour
Paddleboat hire: €9 = 1 hour
Free use of disc golf and an amphibious chair.
The La Monnerie site is rich in biodiversity, and the mosaic of natural environments is remarkably rich, especially in terms of fauna. Developments already carried out have made it possible to accommodate certain populations of remarkable species.
