Vouvray-sur-Loir - Par les étangs de Vouvray

This short loop takes families on a 5.2km walk (with a 3m difference in altitude!) through the ponds of Vouvray-sur-Loir.

Halfway between Le Mans and Tours, Vouvray-sur-Loir lies between steep chalky hillsides and a wide wet plain in the Loir valley. This family hike, which is accessible to people with reduced mobility, will enable you to discover the many ponds in the village.

Things to see along the way:
- Le Pissot wash-house (above the church);
- The Vouvray ponds;
- The Romanesque church of Saint Martin, 12th - 17th centuries;
- The hillside and its cellars (private).
