Via Sancti Martini de Sablé/Solesmes à Tours

ROUTE FROM SAINT MARTIN DE SABLE/SOLESMES TO TOURS

This route can be taken as a pilgrim or simply as a walker to Tours, where the tomb of Saint Martin is located. It is a magnificent route that does not pose any particular difficulty, given the fairly flat terrain between the Sarthe and Loir valleys, and then on to Tours. There are sections of the GR 365 and GR 35. This route has a rich heritage, with many sites linked to Saint Martin, churches and chapels dedicated to him.
