Follow the Plantagenets Way of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela
Follow the Plantagenets Way along the Sentier de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, linking Mont Saint Michel to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. Walk through the vineyards and fields of the Anjou wine appellation areas. Pass through Brissac to catch a glimpse of its famous Château and through Les Alleuds to see the Priory.There is also an alternative route to the Villeneuve monastery in Martigné-Briand, which joins the main route of the Compostela Trail further south. This alternative route passes through the Brissac / Haie de Vauchrétien forest: for your safety, access to this area is prohibited on Thursdays and Sundays from 15 September to 28 February. Wearing a yellow waistcoat is also recommended.
