SENTIER DE L'ISAC ET DE BOUT DE BOIS

Wind your way through the Saffré bocage and join the Nantes-Brest canal and the Vélodyssée.

From the ponds of Saffré to the banks of the Canal de Nantes à Brest, and from woodland to hedgerow, this trail offers a wealth of landscapes to observe.
The trail also invites you to travel back in time as you stroll through the grounds of the Château or follow the towpath of the Nantes-Brest Canal.
You'll be following in the footsteps of the old bargemen as you make your way to the Bout de Bois lake, passing by the camp of the Spanish prisoners requisitioned by Napoleon I for the construction of the canal.
