Le Château de Ranrouët

Located at the gateway to the Brière, this route starts at the foot of Ranrouët castle.

Autumn is when the forest takes on its brightest and most brilliant colours.
This walk is like immersing yourself in the forest, your senses alert to the rustling of leaves or the discreet chirping of birds, and smelling the fragrance of the forest, the bark of the trees and the humus at their foot.
The clearings, meanwhile, reveal typical hamlets, sometimes covered in the reeds of the nearby marsh.

Located at the gateway to La Brière, this trail starts at the foot of the Château de Ranrouët.
After this romantic setting, steeped in history, the walk takes you along paths and back roads to discover typical villages.
You're sure to appreciate the architecture of the thatched cottages and the special atmosphere of the Brière marshes and undergrowth.
