GR3 CROSSAC - SAINT JOACHIM

Secret reed beds, wet meadows, canals and lakes: you're in the Brière!

From Crossac to Saint-Joachim, the natural wet meadows stretch as far as the eye can see. They are home to a wide variety of species. During your walk, you may catch sight of an Ermine, a Weasel, a Short-eared Owl or a Northern Pintail. The reed beds that now cover almost half of the Brière marshes are also home to many species: amphibious voles, moustached tits, marsh harriers... In Saint-Joachim, don't miss a trip to the island of Fédrun, the ideal starting point for barge trips.
