The 7.5-kilometre trail takes you on a journey of discovery through the remains of a bygone but ever-present past. The very name of the village conjures up the mineral atmosphere of the old granite quarries, exploited in the 19th and 20th centuries. The blue granite quarried in Bécon was of the highest quality. In fact, did you know that most of the cobblestones on the Champs-Elysées, THE most beautiful avenue in the world, came from the quarries at Bécon-Les-Granits?
