CIRCUIT DES MARAIS

Nice stroll of 10.7 km through Corsept marshes.

A 10.7km walking and cycling circuit to discover the magnificent landscape of the Corsept marshes.

Signposted in yellow, the Marais trail starts from the Corsept church, with its distinctive slate-coloured bell tower, and takes you close to land criss-crossed by reeds and reeds and inhabited by a multitude of birds.
Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside as you stroll along the paths bordering the wet meadows.
Be careful, though, as the grass can tug at your legs and there are occasional motorists on the route.
You will see the Pierre Bonde menhir and, in the distance, the remains of the Château de la Verrie, built in 1867 and burnt down in 1936.
