BOIS CHARRETTE

The Bois Charette circuit will appeal to lovers of forest walks thanks to its shaded paths. Part of the route follows cycle route no. 4402, Nantes–Bouin.

Starting point: Moulin de la Berderie car park.

First follow the ‘Bois Charette’ signs, then the yellow markings. The path runs alongside a field before heading into pleasant woodland for several kilometres. You will then reach a section shared with cycle route no. 4402, alternating between quiet country lanes and wooded stretches. At the end of the route, you’ll come across the GR® Tour du lac de Grand-Lieu, which you can follow if you wish to extend your walk.

The return journey then takes you back to the starting point, at a place called La Berderie.
