Association Les Amis du Nepal

Our association was set up in Le Mans in 1986 by a group of people who, having spent time in Nepal, wanted to share their knowledge of the country and their love of travel and nature. Passionate about sports, the outdoors and the mountains, we invite you to share in our activities, and hope that this associative life will enable everyone to realise new projects. You'll be able to discover the Sarthe through its many hiking trails and other French regions from north to south. Approved by Jeunesse et Sport. Affiliated with the Fédération Française de la Randonnée Pédestre. Supervised by FFR-certified instructors. It currently has two sections: A hiking and conscious walking section and a Nordic walking section with a total of ninety members.
Les Amis du Népal: 2 outings a month on Sunday afternoons.
Distance covered: 8 to 12 km - pace 4 km/H.
We travel throughout the department and neighbouring towns. The meeting point is at Carrefour Market La Pointe at 1.30pm for car pooling.
You are welcome to join us (without obligation) for a discovery walk!
We also have a Nordic Walking section.
- Sessions on Mondays (duration 1h30) at 13h50 3 groups of level
meet at the car park at the Arche de la Nature orchard. and on Thursdays at 9.30am (fast level).
- A CONSCIOUS WALKING section, one Sunday afternoon a month.
You will find the registration form on our website. The annual membership fee is €51 and gives access to all three activities.
You must provide a medical certificate.

To enable as many people as possible to maintain good health through our outdoor activities, and to develop the conscious walking and taiji qi gong sections.
