Presentation of: LA BOUSSOLE - MEDIATHEQUE
La Barre de Monts – Fromentine public library is a local service.
It took place in early 2016 in a new 140 m² building. Very accessible, this one was designed to be bright, well-ventilated and friendly. The library has been inaugurated by Isabelle Autissier on 6th February 2016.
Around 4000 documents are available to be borrowed or consulted on site. 400 DVDs are also present and 120 CDs took place in the shelves.
Computers are available for free consultation in order to have an access to a word processing software and the internet. One of the library’s objectives is to provide access to reading from the earliest days.
Among the documents, particular care is given to the purchase of comic strips and to the theme of the sea and adventure.
