Presentation of: Golf de la Bretesche

Beneath the ramparts of a splendid 14th-century château, Domaine de la Bretesche is a real treat for the senses, both on the golf course and in the luxurious facilities.

Since 1967, this seemingly easy course has been punishing players who don't concentrate as soon as they stray under the branches of the venerable deciduous trees. And once you leave the almost ubiquitous forest, it's hard to stay on your game: the ramparts and turrets of the impressive medieval castle, perched on the edge of a lake, are just around the corner. The estate is a magical place, and not just because of the manicured maintenance the course receives. The golf course's Relais & Châteaux hotel, restaurant, spa, two swimming pools and function rooms all add to the enchantment. And it's only when you leave, alas, that the enchantment comes to an end!
