Exhibition and sale of pottery. Training days for wheel-throwing, baptism of ceramics and pottery.
An exhibition of handmade pottery, each piece unique: utilitarian crockery, jewellery, animal sculpture and works of art.I welcome trainees to my studio.
I can offer you a day of discovery (9.30am - 4pm) or a half-day, as you wish.
The day's programme includes
Introduction to pottery techniques.
The course will begin with an introduction to the potter's materials.
You'll learn how to prepare and de-air the clay.
On the potter's wheel, you will learn to centre and master the cylinder, or more complex shapes for those who have already turned.
The price includes materials and the first firing.
The workshop is also open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm to 6pm, and the rest of the week by appointment.
