Vélo-rail

Vélo rail: the village in bloom invites you on an unusual ride along the old railway line. You'll be able to take the draisine for a 6km ride in the heart of nature. Enjoy the Rosserie viaduct, overlooking the Mayenne.

Each bike-rail accommodates 4 adults and 1 child under the age of 5, with 2 people pedalling. The 6km route (outward and return) is dotted with themed panels on the history of the railways, the viaduct and the flora and fauna. There are also footpaths leading to Lac de Haute Mayenne and Parc de Vaux in Ambrières les Vallées. Saint Loup du Gast is a 4-flower village in bloom.
Other days by prior arrangement

2 draisines are available for people with reduced mobility.
Dogs on a lead are welcome.

The velo-rail bar is open during opening hours: wide choice of drinks (licence IV) and ice creams.
