Circuit de la Chapelle Lamarre (n°6)

A technical and sporty mountain bike trail to discover the west of the Sillé forest and the Chapelle Lamarre. The route can also be explored on foot.

On the way:
Caution: at the start, cross the D203.
Take care: cross the D5 and D304 (D35 in Mayenne) twice.

Worth seeing:
- The Croix Lamarre chapel (19th century): in the 19th century, the cult of Saint-Mathurin was replaced by that of Notre-Dame-de-la-Croix. After the end of the revolutionary period, a citizen named Lamarre had a small oratory dedicated to Our Lady erected on the Coevrons hillock in repentance for his sins. It was inaugurated on 23 September 1862 and restored in 1999.
- Le Grez: the name of this commune comes from the nature of the soil (Le Grès). The old school in Le Grez is well worth a visit.
