Balade à vélo Découverte du Mans et de sa Métropole

This epicurean weekend plunges you into the heart of northern Sarthe, renowned for its forests, heritage and picturesque villages. After a short transfer from Le Mans station to the outskirts of Sillé-le-Guillaume, we hop on our bikes...

From forest tracks to grids, from local roads to cycle paths, we're pedalling as close as we can to the heritage of the Sarthe region. Leaving the forest of Sillé at our back, we head for Saint-Cénéri-le-Gérei, a village on the border of the Orne and Sarthe departments. It's here that we'll be stopping off, a popular spot for artists who draw their inspiration from it!

Recovering from our emotions, we set off again by bike for a few kilometres to the canoe-kayak embarkation point and begin a ten-kilometre descent down the Sarthe to Fresnay-sur-Sarthe, a village that will win you over with its charm and authenticity... After a picnic lunch, we're back in the saddle to join the V44 cycle route, which will take us close to Beaumont-sur-Sarthe. Then it's back on the shuttle bus for another twenty minutes or so to Le Mans station!
